The Departue's new EP (released 11/15/15)  "Gateways"  is a genre crossing, high energy, enticing new album.
They keep each track interesting, with modern,  memorable hooks, upbeat rhythms, creative progressions, and entrancing harmonies . The stylistic diversities throughout the tracks on this EP, are a well rounded showcase of  The Departure's broad range of skill and style. From the metal, head banging riffs of track "Forget Everything" to the more ambient, soulful serenades of "Lonely Eyes". The Departure's "Gateways" EP is sure to impress fans of Metal, Punk, and Rock genres alike.
This rising band is gaining well deserved recognition in the Punk/ Alternative scene. In their short career they have already opened for Cold War Kids and Phantogram, and played several festivals, proving popular with diverse crowds.
